- ★ ★ ★ ★ ★I live in Colorado and my mom lives in Santa Barbara. We toured many facilities in Goleta/ SB area but found Senior Advocates to be the most trustworthy, caring, and well staffed facility. Their administrator, who happens to be a nurse, is very knowledgeable in elderly care. She constantly updates my mom's doctor on her condition so her doctor can put together the best plan of care. Since I live so far away, they were willing to go the extra mile to make ride arrangements for my mom to go to her appointments accompanied by one of their caregivers.
